Eurotrain in Florence is a cultural association born in 2002 based on the 10-year experience of the founders based on the promotion of youth participation and active citizenship and it operates in the field of informal education and cultural and youth politics with an international perspective.

In particular, Eurotrain elaborates and develops projects in the social-educational area addressed to youths and children and also people operating in that field at public and private levels, promoting research and innovation on:

  • integration processes and promotion of interculture with the support of new technologies
  •  planning and management of meeting and learning places
  • processes linked to the planning and the supply of educational activities

  • routes that make the most of the differences and potentialities of the individual and of the group

 

AREAS OF ACTITIVITY

Eurotrain promotes and manages, for itself or also for other organisations and authorities, the following activities:

  • projects about development linked to youth and cultural policy
  •  research and information regarding the opportunity of study and European exchange
  • school guidance and vocational training

  • balance and certification of competence

  • cultural centres

  • training abroad in the area of international cooperation

  • teaching of foreign languages and computer science

  • experiences of intercultural exchanges and confrontation


In the project, Eurotrain is particularly in charge to appoint the external evaluators and to follow each step of the project in cooperation with the partnership.

 Eurotrain dissemination activities    

Meetings in Florence:

Eurotrain  in cooperation with Accademia europea di Firenze and Istituto Sassetti Peruzzi have planned a regional meeting for the 9th of June 2009. The meeting is addressed to teachers, trainers, tutors who deal with mobility projects and especially Leonardo da Vinci placement programmes.

The Tactic project and the manual will be introduced in order for the participants to use it within their mobility projects.

Eurotrain is planning to organise a regional meeting in Florence in September 2009 for companies who work in the mobility field, hosting international trainees.

More information will be available online since July 2009.
